Guide: How to Make Your Renders Hyper-Realistic with Stable Diffusion

1. Why You Need This

  • If your render looks good but not truly realistic, you can enhance it with natural vegetation, lifelike people, and small details that bring it alive.

  • These improvements create the wow effect during client presentations.

  • Almost every design studio, architecture firm, and creative agency now uses Stable Diffusion to enhance their work.

2. Installing Stable Diffusion (Forge)

  1. Open the step-by-step guide (link in video description).

  2. Go to GitHub → find the section Installing Forge.

  3. For Windows → download the .7zip file.

  4. Unzip it → a new folder with Forge files will appear.

  5. Run update.bat to make sure you have the latest version.

  6. Launch run.bat → Stable Diffusion will open in your browser.

  7. (Pro tip) Right-click → Create shortcut → drag it to your desktop for quick access.

3. Downloading Models

  • Navigate to webui > models > stable-diffusion.

  • Download models from Civit AI or Hugging Face.

  • Place the file into this folder → it will appear in the checkpoint list.

  • For ArchViz, the CyberRealistic model works great.

4. Interface & Settings

  • Main modes: image-to-image and inpaint.

  • Always use a negative prompt for cleaner results (you can generate one with ChatGPT).

  • Recommended generation settings:

    • 30–40 steps

    • Proper width & height (depending on your render)

    • Use external AI upscalers for higher resolution images

5. Example: Adding People

  1. Upload your render into inpaint.

  2. Select the area (e.g., where you want a person).

  3. In the prompt: type “man” (or another subject).
    In the negative prompt: use a pre-made high-quality list.

    • Sampling steps: 40

    • Denoising strength: 0.4–0.7

    • High resolution for best realism

  5. With each iteration, the result becomes more photorealistic.

6. Example: Vegetation & Small Details

  • Use 4K images for the best enhancements.

  • Small masked areas → sharp results.

  • Large masked areas → may look slightly blurry.

  • Before/after comparison: grass, asphalt, people, and environment become much more natural with Stable Diffusion.
